First Breach Inc. (NASDAQ:FBDT) has officially taken flight into the domain of next-generation unmanned aerial systems, achieving a critical milestone by completing the first flight of its proprietary drone prototype. This advancement marks a major strategic evolution for the Hagerstown, Maryland based defense technologies company as it builds out domestic manufacturing capabilities. Through a strategic agreement with domestic engineering firm Hellbender, Inc., First Breach is establishing a scalable platform to support the surging demand from defense and government customers for American-made unmanned platforms.
The company owns the drone platforms along with their associated intellectual property, retaining total control over manufacturing and commercialization while Hellbender provides design, technical support, component manufacturing, and engineering. This strategic initiative centers on two Class 1 attritable drone platforms engineered specifically for cost-effective deployment across defense and security applications. The lineup features a compact, close-quarters system alongside a longer-range system. Both platforms share common components engineered to maximize supply chain efficiencies, support scalable assemblies, ensure consistent quality, and rapidly expand replicable domestic production.

Following this successful test flight, First Breach expects to finalize initial prototype iterations in Q4 2026. The company is actively laying the groundwork to scale full production in the second quarter of 2027, targeting an impressive production capacity of more than 2,500 drones per week. To achieve this ambitious output, the operational footprint relies on advanced robotics, computer vision, and highly automated assembly processes.

Central to this manufacturing push is the company’s expansive facility in Hagerstown, Maryland. While First Breach currently operates approximately 80,000 square feet dedicated to ammunition production, it holds more than 200,000 additional contiguous square feet specifically designed to support drone production, robotic assembly, automated logistics, and broader facility expansions.
Alongside its rapid rise in autonomous flight systems, First Breach continues to fortify its core defense operations. The company recently announced that new high-speed ammunition-loading and inspection equipment has been installed, and is now fully operational within its Hagerstown site. This state-of-the-art machinery boosts ammunition production capacity by approximately 175%, allowing the facility to produce up to 20 million rounds per month as it transitions toward a round-the-clock 24-hour schedule.
